We’ve all heard of EGOTing, the accomplishment of getting an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony, but I think we need to add one more letter: I, for getting an ice cream made in your honor. Selena Gomez is the latest celeb to accomplish this goal after Serendipity announced her flavor “Cookies & Cream Remix.”
This glamorous new flavor is truly made for a pop star…or actually in honor of a few stars. It comes packed with pink vanilla ice cream, crunchy cookie bites, and gobs of gooey fudge. It’s also particularly apt because the flavor was inspired by the upcoming single “Ice Cream” that Selena made with K-Pop superstars BLACKPINK. FYI, the single drops on August 28 for anyone who is super excited by this news…I know I am.
“Growing up and loving the iconic Serendipity restaurant, I couldn’t be more excited to become a partner in their expanding brand,” Selena said in a release: “For the Cookies & Cream remix, I wanted to put my own personal spin on this classic flavor by making it with pink vanilla ice cream as a nod to my girls BLACKPINK and celebrate our new song ‘Ice Cream.’”
The dreamy pink ice cream will also be available beginning August 28 for a suggested retail price of $5.99 and you can pick it up IRL in places like supermarkets and convenience stores or online at SerendipityBrands.com. Make sure you pick up a pint and a spoon and settle in for a listening party.
