If you’re interested in growing or starting your own business, the Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce will be operating a four-week online business boot camp to get you prepared.
The free Black Business Boot Camp will run from November 17 to December 1. In a partnership with Comerica, the chamber will walk attendees of the virtual program through the basics of owning, starting and growing the business including customer acquisition, growing your team, debt, working with banks, streamlining the business and more.
Program participants will have access to DBCC business advisors, industry experts, as well as Comerica Bank representatives, who will provide financial information, according to the Facebook event for the program.

While the program is free and will take place on Zoom, participants must sign up ahead of time. People are encouraged to participate even if they cannot make all the sessions.
